MITH is an acronym for "Mission In
The Hills" representing the
city (Mission Hills, CA) where the founding members grew up. MITH
is eight years of collective energy from the diverse environment
from which their youth is fueled. with a repertoire nearing 50
origional songs, their first CD is an attempt to encapsule the
powerfully unique sound and lyrics that exhibit the flexability
and mind capturing feel of MITH. Their musical influence is enhanced
with Spanish interpetations of their lyrics. Being residents of
North East San Fernando Valley and of Spanish and Mexican descent,
MITH is more aware of the preferences of the local cultures. MITH
has given the bi-lingual listeners a twist in that the translations
often bring about an entirely new meaning to their songs, yet
maintaining the energy that drives their sound. The picture to

Beto
Emerick is the Mastermind and the singing rythm guitar player who
is joined by brother Nacho Emerick on drums and bassist Rob Ramirez
the backbones of the beat. Tom Varela is the fun loving lead guitarist
